I reiterate:
(because it needs to be said again for some)

A first step, to turn things around, would be to stop the brain-washing from the liberal media. (the three "network" news organizations come to mind  )

At least fifty percent of U.S. citizens have succumbed to their control, and are little more than mindless "robots" - controlled by those same media organizations. (they "now" wouldn't know the truth if it literally stood up and smacked them in the face  )

Another very IMPORTANT thing is to retain our 2nd Amendment rights. And BE PREPARED!!

The US / THEM mindset is what could bring this great nation down. I thought we were ALL AMERICANS. I thought America stood for freedom for ALL. Apparently some feel THEIR vote just isn't large enough, and they need to compensate.

I just want to comment on one thing mentioned, "AMMO SHORTAGES". The military, arms manufactures, and their lobbyists brought us three wars that are about to bankrupt the country. Who's pockets do you think are being lined? Does anyone really think Owens, or any other arms manufacturer, cares about selling you a box of 22's when they can endlessly rape the taxpayers?

This thread is turning out to be interesting. Looking from afar, the current capatalism system has failed. How on earth did that happen? $13 trillion deficit? man alive!! and people are still under the idea that it still works!!

Look at china, a communist country. not to be confused with the USSR, the chinese govt are smart. That is why they are moving ahead, and the USA fell behind. Not an ideal situation, but it has happened. Capatilism, the federal banking system has inevitably failed and let's face it- the writing is on the wall, unless we take a stand like some countries recently have done.

I shall put it this way, and I have said it all before. Money, governments, debt etc.. it's all man made. Some in this world are greedy, majority are starving & poor. Some die, either through suicide, overdose or starvation. Money related problems are the bain of our society. Why? because of money and power. I repeat, it is an invention of man.

Decades ago, if you wanted to control a nation, you did it with miliatry power- even if you still had no money. Today, you control people with money. Some militant run govts even control their people with food. "Money talks, BS walks.." is a very true statement. If you can't control people with money, then miliatry power is used. If it was all shared equally, food and money wouldnt be a problem in this world. There is enough food and money to go around for every human being on earth, however- as we live in a global society where less than 25% of the population consume more than our fair share whilst people die from lack of the things we take for granted.

My midnight rant.. now what was I talking about? -oh that's right..

That may very well be true. But $13trillion would have had to have taken years and years to accumulate that type of deficit. Lets put that into perspective- my country (NZ) GDP is $140Bn, which is dwarfed by the size of the deficit. (edit:) The USA GDP is $14Tr. with deficit of $13tr.

But who will hold them accountable? no-one. Because the very system that put these people in place is being worked & administered by those who are behind it. I mean, Obama and those before him- did not single handedly make every desicion that has come to this very point in time, there are heaps and heaps of people involved.

The people of america put simply have done what they allways should have done- voted with their pen and paper. It begs the qusestion however, with different people in power, would the result be the same or different?

Well if you go back and look who spent the money. Bush added 4 trillion to the debt in 8 yrs which is alot. Obama added another 4 in under 3 yrs and still going. They need to stop which is what the Tea Party is about. Its hard to compare NZ or alot of other countrys to the US (350 million people).

Stop fighting, pick up your guitar, and play, while you can.

Be like Jimi. Try to design your sounds to go right into the soul of the listener. Jimi designed his sounds to be played out of doors, through the air.

The Illuminati are they still calling themselves that, I went to school with a few of them, posh kids they were, while the rest of us were Ready Brek kids that just wasn't good enough for them, no no no "we are the illuminati", a good head flushing down the toilet bowl seemed to work back then, like I've mentioned on previous "economy going down the pan" based threads we're going to need bigger toilet pans it's the only way people.

A VERY good point!

And that is probably why certain members of politics are doing everything they can to "demonize" the Tea Party. (they don't want to lose their "free" money  )

NO ONE deserves something for nothing.

Pay the Military Servicemen/women
Pay Social Security to retired citizens who worked all thier lives
Pay short term unemployment benefits to those who are out of work

All other types of "social aid" need to be closely examined and either strictly reformed/limited or completely abolished. Read the following quote and really think about it's implications and how it applies today.

“A democracy will continue to exist up until the time that voters discover
that they can vote themselves generous gifts from the public treasury.
From that moment on, the majority always votes for the candidates
who promise the most benefits from the public treasury,
with the result that every democracy will finally collapse
due to loose fiscal policy”

OK everyone, three basic principals and we would all be happy and the country would be debt free (IMHO): 1) end the wars we as citizens don't support and have nothing to do with us; 2) tax religious institutions on their vast holdings that have nothing to do with religion (1 in 10 blocks in this country are tax free religious holdings) and; 3) make sure the general population (through democratic vote), not corporate money and influence , control our government. We could then end our endless bickering and afford good education, heath care, and social services for all, and focus on our economy and overall well being. The way out of our current situation should be a no brainer if we would only pull our heads out.

Nitwits is a high honor for the morons in our media and Hollyweird. It is equally sad that "we the people" tend to support this troupe of ne'er-do-wells.
