Today marks the tragic day Stevie Ray Vaughan passed away. I thought about giving him a moment of silence, but then I also thought, "Wait a minute. All of that beautiful music, and I should give him a moment of silence?" No! Today I should play his music as loud and as passionate as he did, and the way he intended it to be heard, R.I.P. STEVIE. "The Sky is Cry'in..." So, weather you are a true Double Trouble fanatic or you just like the way Stevie did "VooDoo Child", play whatever song, or songs that are your SRV favorites!

Thank you for the reminder.
Although SRV's death was truly a sad thing, his music (and the thought of him passionately tearing into his songs) fills me with absolute joy.
I played through a few (highly improvised) takes on "Little Wing" and "Pride and Joy" just thinking of him.
