Good Morning All!!!

Uh oh, sun is slow to come up these days......well either way I have a busy day on tap. I have some sanding a priming of a new wall that I put up, some yard work, a visit to my mothers and a ride on the Hog.........and of course I am going to heat up the tubes on the Deluxe Reverb and rip out some serious blues (well as serious as my rookie experience will let me). I hope you all have a great day and all you East Coasters, stafe safe, stay dry, and stay warm.

Beaubs 8)

Goodmorning Beaubs and everyone! The sun is waking up a little later these days but I still have paper-work to do and then pick up my guitar crank up the GK and my Sunn cab and play a blues tune or two. Beaubs, have a fun weekend! Everybody else, have a fun weekend!
I agree with Beaubs, all of the east coasters be safe.

Morning Beaubs and all!
Well Hurricane Irene is schedued to arrive some time late this evening so lots of prep to do today. Currently, it's gone down in intensity from Cat 3 to Cat 1 and with luck it will just be a Tropical Storm with high winds and rain by the time it comes here. With lots of trees around my house, even that is a threat!!

Hope others by the coast are all set and ready!
Best to all of us in the "zone".

Mornin' all,
Batteries are charged, stuff on the bottom shelves of the basement storage unit has been raised to higher shelves. As fortune would have it we had a serious tree pruning this past May, removed one large branch that was over-hanging the roof and a few window scrapers too. Hopeful the 75 year old Sycamore they came from will still be standing on Monday morning.
Mrs.E and I rode out hurricane Gloria at this adress and hope to be wearing "I Survived Hurricane Irene" tee shirts sometime soon.

Fingers crossed,
John.E

Good afternoon Beaubs and all the Fender folks.
I just want to say that I'm hoping everyone on the east coast is okay.
Keep safe people.

Mix of clouds and sun today, temp in the mid-90s. It's fine here.
I am concerned about my family and friends in southern New England in the path of Irene.

Yup, another fine day in San Diego. As my brother from Seattle once said, "Another fine day in paradise."

My fingers are crossed for all of the folks on the east coast, and my prayers are with all who are affected by this.

Hi folks,we're finally getting the weather that was supposed to be here in July and early August,it's 24C in the shade. In preparation for Hurricane Irene and the high winds and heavy rains that will come with it I got up on the roof and blocked the area around the skylight with roofing gum.The roof has been leaking for quite some time but it's very difficult to get a day that's suitable for getting up on the roof,it's usually too windy wet or cold or a combination of those conditions. My next job is to put away the lawn furniture so that it doesn't end up on a trans-Atlantic voyage.Anyway I hope all of those along the eastern seaboard of the U.S. fair O.K. with the impending storm.
