I remember hearing that news. That recording from Alpine Valley is pretty cool, what a sad end to his life and career.

I remember that terrible night as if it was yesterday with all the scattered news reports that came out earlier with reporters speculating who was on the helicopter.They knew someone big had been on the flight but didn't know it was Stevie until hours after.I had such a horrible feeling just knowing that no matter who it was we had lost one of our musical treasures.Then to find out that it was Stevie who had gone clean and turned his life around made it that more tragic.
