I've seen 'em both. Joan was sexier but Pat put significantly more energy into it .... and what a range! She puts her 4 octave range to good use in her shows. On music alone I have to go with Pat. Throw in looks and it gets closer.

Neither one of those two. Ann Wilson (of Heart), without a doubt. Beautiful voice, just as sexy and good-looking, and she and her sister Nancy can ROCK!!

I was glad to see Neil Geraldo on the link above. I think he was influential.
If you listen to Pat´s discography, there´s plenty to be learned from his guitar work.
He had to deal with those 8 bar solos, to keep the tune ¨ hip¨. I think he did a fine job!
