Eric Holder is corrupt from the first day he was appointed. Remember, he wouldn't go after the Black Panther party for voter intimidation, flat out refused to prosecute with witnesses and people complaining. He picks and chooses for political reasons. Gibson might be guilty, but immigration problems are more important and he does nothing.

If an American president successfully cut off the flow of illegal immigrants, it would have a negative imact on the American economy. That's why none of them have seriously tackled the issue.

Also, the Bush justice department was at the helm when that Black Panthers thing happened and they didnt do anything for either, and they had 3 months to act.

OK Ill stop now.

How? I think that the gang and drug problems, as well as, health care and jails get pretty expensive. There is a legal way for workers to come in to the US. The reason no one tackles the issue is because they don't want to loose support from particular groups.

All of you who are blaming Eric Holder for this might want to spend a few minutes reading the article and studying the US political system. The Gibson factory was raided by the Fish and Wildlife Service. The Fish and Wildlife Service is part of the Department of the Interior. That department is led by Ken Salazar, a former senator from Colorado. The raid had nothing to do with Holder.

The case will ultimately be adjudicated in a federal court. And that falls under the purview of the United States Department Of Justice.

Case closed!

Federal Courts are part of the Judicial Branch which is a completely separate branch of government. This is basic grade school level stuff.

Charges would be brought by a US Attorney who would be part of the DOJ, But, the DOJ has nothing to do with the current investigation. If no legal violations are found, it will never even reach the DOJ.

If violations are alleged it will be the Justice Department that prosecutes on behalf of the federal government.

Lest it escape you, that's Holder, Obama, et al.

"Basic grade school stuff", pal.

Damn Tree Huggers  But really we all know, its becuz dumbass will actually pay $2,000 just to say they have a Gibson, is why they are so expensive. Plus just like Martin, its about age as a form of superiority. They def should raid Martin if they think wood dictates prices.

Just because destitute dopers are perfectly content with Epi-Phonies doesn't make those of us who own real Gibsons "dumbasses".

Dude, if a policeman pulls you over for a DUI, a DA will likely prosecute you. That doesn't mean the policeman was told to pull you over by the DA, the mayor, the governor, or any other politician. Fish and Wildlife decided to investigate Gibson based on their own suspicions. Eric Holder -- regardless of your Tea Bagger fantasies -- had nothing to do with it. If Fish and Wildlife find evidence of illegalities and a US Attorney decides to prosecute, Holder will have nothing to do with that either. Yes, basic grade school stuff. Why is it so difficult for you to comprehend?

Once again taking out of context, those are your words not mine, i meant, just never mind not worth explaining, have fun ripping this apart, Id personally love a Gibson if i could afford one, and really Destutue Dopers? Just becuz ive smoked pot you criticize, and god why does that matter, half the people you know or listen to have smoked and accomplished what your meager mind can barely wrap around, and if it wasent for "Epi Phonies", thered be a lot less guitarists and great bands for that matter out there seeing as how no parent wants to spend $700 minimum for a guitar. You sir are a dick. Really what was your first three guitars? Sure as hell werent Gibsons im willing to bet,

Forgive me for entertaining your ignorance

How much are you willing to bet?

Got a couple of C-notes handy?

Your mindless mouthings and your predictably-pathetic future recollect the title of an old Cheech & Chong film......
