Hello All I just picked up a modified 1999 American Start at a local Pawn Shop. It is a very nice playing guitar. There is even a signature/Autograph on the body of the guitar no I did not buy it for the autograph but my curiosity is starting to get the better of me so I am posting a couple of picks of the guitar and the signature.

Anybody got any idea of who it might be?

That is precisely why you should never have anyone sign a guitar. 20 more years from now nobody will know who that was either. And it will count as a markdown in an appraisal. In VERY few exceptions does it add value, and even then you need proof such as a photo of the artist signing. The list of signatures that will add value if authentic is extremely short and most are deceased.

The Pawnstars would probably know... ask them.

I'll try but take a straight photo of it and make sure it's clear and as big as possible without affecting the screen.

Go here: http://www.padaweb.org/

Contact a professional autograph dealer near you and either show them the Strat or take in clear photographs. They may be able to tell you who it is.
