Has anybody here tried or use these picks? I just got the African Ebony and Santos Rosewood models and I must say I like these even better than the V-Picks I have been using. Much fuller and rounder sound with an even better grip.

How much do these cost? I have several V Picks. I like a couple of them. The really thick ones sound way too dull for me. I've been wanting to try the Ice Pick but can't find any place that carries them.

I paid 5 bucks apiece for mine off an e-bay store, so they are in line with what the standard line v-picks go for. The picks are rated on the Janko wood hardness scale, and as such the harder picks will not only last longer, but give a slightly brighter sound, where the softer woods I think are more for acoustic, nylon string and maybe jazz players. If in doubt, I would try the African Ebony, which is the second hardest for an all around electric pick. These picks are around 2mm where you hold it, but taper down nicely at the tip, so they play great. And they seem to form a nice bevel as you play them, so they really shape themselves to the way you play and seem to play better the more playing time you put on them. Best grip I have seen on any pick, and I have hundreds of them. This company also just came out with Buffalo horn and bone picks, of which I just ordered the horn one. These are $7.50 and the same size and shape as the wood ones. Here's the link to the e-bay page. http://shop.ebay.com/i.html?_nkw=timber ... m270.l1313
