Famous Guitarists in Fender Forum..

So all you long time Fender forum lurkers.....I wanna hear your hunches on big names here on the forum.... Like any of you who think there is a big name on here under a different handle....Like have you discussed Mid boost with a unsuspecting dude who might be the EC him self....Or Jazz progressions conversations with Robin Ford....Or had a argument with a dude about humbuckers who happened to mention he liked snakes!!! :lol:

I reckon Super Tin Lid could be Elvis in hiding!!!!! :wink:

If Super Tin Lid is Elvis in Hiding, I am thinking Retroverbial might be Leo himself, he knows way too much to be just some guy! :lol:

Seriously,I don't think there's anyone famous here....some people here know some well known guitarists,but that's about it.

I seem to remember photos of a guitar collection that were posted and there was strong suspicion that it was John Mayers collection. I was just watching from the sidelines so I don't know if it was or not.

Wish I could man,but all I've done is hang with some of the big guys and wish I was as good as they are...I did jam with Warren Haynes... long before he got famous.....I've met lots of people in the Nashville area from Michael McDonald of the Doobies to Gregg Allman and Dickey Betts,and many others,but I can't say I'm good buds with any of them....just met them in passing,usually they were close friends with other guys I know....this is Music City. :lol:

But here...on the forums?...who knows?

I think the one guy was right. Forums are probubly not cool enough for the big dudes. They have way better things to do. Drive Hot Rods--- Spend Money-- Fly in Jets-- run over bums at the underpass in a tour bus-- stuff like that. You know. If you were big time would you post on here? Twisted Bozo humour....I like it.....I still reckon the big dudes obviously love guitar more than us......So if there internet savvy they have to have checked out all the bullshit us musical peasants babble on about.... it's there interest as well....Even if they do look at most of it and just laugh...... :lol:

Definitely not tech/gear/tone questions. They have their own buds and techies and hotlines to CS for that. Ha ha!
I am sure they are busy enjoying their music, writing, touring, and lives. Congrats to them for making it!
