so if you read my last thread, this is a little add on, if not, i'll catch you up to speed

in my last thread i was trying to figure weather to get a Strat or a Tele for my first electric.
i said i had decided most likely a tele from what i've been told, but i will have to try them bith out at the store...

now, i have another dilema..
i rembered yesterday that I do acctualy have all of the money for this guitar, but, it will take selling my show heifer (un-bread cow) from last year that i was going to breed and keep with the cattle business...
i don't see myself sticking with cattle very much longer in the first place, but you never know
i love his heifer, she's like a pet, but also wasting money

the only way i can use the money that i won with her though, is to sell her, the account has around 3,000 or 3,500 dollars in it, i am not 100% sure what's in there, eather way, that's enough for a nice American made Fender....right?

now, should i sell the calf and get the guitar now, or keep the calf and keep on savin' up
till i earn the money, thaat will take anout 2 years minimum, ?

Oh and there I was thinking this thread was about someone having an ultimatum between having a new guitar and their wife leaving

If the cow will continue to be a viable business and make you more money in the future, keep the cow.

Hi trwells,

Isn't this question better asked of your parents or guardians? Asking a bunch of anonymous strangers on an internet forum a question like this, doesn't seem prudent.

If it were me, I would keep the cow, breed it and have cows for the future, and in a few years, you can have a cows for food and milk, and the guitar. At your age, you will probably change your mind about guitars in the future more than you change your underwear now.

1) Greatest topic title ever
2) If the cow will continue to make money, keep it. If it makes money, you'll be able to buy a guitar at some point, no?

1, i did talk to my dad about it, he said its up to me so asking annonomous (?) strangers is my best bet, she is MY cow, i bought her, i bought everything that has ever been in any way related to her.
2. she is more of a hobby than anything, and i also hope to go into the AF when I become an adult so i can't really have aot of cattle runnin' around
3. she gets to be more of a burden than anything...
4.thanks for all of the advice,
5.thanks, it's the best thing i could think of....
:)

(1) Sell the cow.
(2) Buy some spelling and grammar lessons.
(3) Don't take yourself so seriously ("don't want jokes")...we're all friends here, and friends often pick on each other. :D
(4) Buy your guitar.

If it was my decision,I'd keep the cow for the simple reason that I'd rather have her in the barn than on someone's table. If you keep her for breeding purposes she'll keep on making you enough money to buy several guitars during her best breeding years.

My wife has cows too. She loves 'em almost as much as I do my guitars. Of course, she has no qualms about selling the little babies.
I name her cows. There is Fiesta Red, Blackie, No. 1, Sunburst ...

Quite the dilemma there. If you are sentimental about the cow, I say keep saving up. If the cow is eating too much of you income, sell the cow. I would never tell anyone to give up a family member for a guitar.
