Hi all... anyone tried these before?
http://www.inlaysticker.com/
There's a part of me that can't believe their worth purchasing. It seems like the strings would get hung up on bends or the stickers would just wear out or get all scratched up? They do look pretty sweet though... I was thinking of the hummingbird/vine neck inlay for my Cort Source. It's not a guitar I play a lot so wouldn't be as worried about wear, etc.

I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone whose tried these or if you have suggestions on others. Thanks...

There is a forum member that has those decals on his fretboard. He's posted several video's of him playing very technical, shredding type music. His decals seemed to be holding up well. I don't remember his name right now, maybe someone else will. I haven't seen him post in a month or two.

Did he have a thread called mod-aholic or something like that?

I think I remember that guy too. Wasn't he from Japan? His guitar looked Steve Vai-ish if I remember correctly.

Personally, after looking at all the stuff on that website, I don't think it looked half bad. It looks like standard vinyl signage these days, just probably a little thinner because of where it's going. I don't think I'd do the fretboard thing (my guitars all have fret markers), but I was a little intrigued with some of the decals for pickguards and other places. Hmmm...

That's him. I did a search. His user name is SinX. Here's a link to one of the YouTube videos he posted.

Cool...that's the guitar I had seen in some threads that I was thinking of. The decals certainly don't seem to be slowing him down any.

Yeah, some of the decals seem pretty cool... I have a Yamaha acoustic that would look pretty cool too with a little decal bling... I could see how tastefully used they'd look pretty cool as long as one didn't go overboard with them.

My son has had the Paul Allender style "bat" inlay decals on the neck of his Goth Les Paul for about 3 years now. He hasn't had any problems with strings sticking or the vinyl decals peeling or wearing through.
