Automotive electrician. I work doing custom sound system installs, but I am beyond tired of it, and currently looking for something different. If I had my own shop I could make 10 times what I do per job and have a lot less stress to deal with. It still amazes me how in this economy people still shell out thousands of dollars for a sound system in their car.

Sleep, school. Often at the same time during the portion of the year that school bleeds into my sleep schedule.

Industrial Safety Coordinator.
I interpret legislation and ensure compliance by both the workforce and the employer by implimenting and managing safety programs, company policies, safe work practices, safe work procedures, hazard assessments, critical lift plans, etc. at heavy industrial work sites in both construction and maintenance in mines, refineries, pulp mills, power generating stations, smelters ... places like that. I leave tomorrow morning for a six to seven week shutdown at a pulp mill in Northern BC. My job is 95% boredom followed by 5% sheer panic.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

Avid and Protools tech for a Post Production facility. I don't do anything creative... don't drive the cars just keep them running as they say. I thank my stars i made that decision to bag the sound editing gig. the creatives are the first to go when folks like the Writers guild decide to go on strike and cost the industry tons of money and jobs. You can thank the Writers Guild for all the reality crap on T.V.

I also prefer not being chained to a computer 16 hours a day editing... I hated that. Now i just sit around, and wait for someone's system to flake out and go fix it.

Right now I work in a shop that sells outdoor clothing and equipment.

However I'm just away to move out for university where I'll be studying Law for the next few years.

That's really cool Eg. I checked out your site. What games have you done? I'm not a "gamer" but i do have a long commute so play a lot of PSP games. Video game music is somewhat of an under appreciated art. Castlevania has some really amazing composition. Especially Castlevania Symphony of the Night (my favorite of the series)
