Hmmm. If you always lose picks, but you wore one on a chain around your neck, would you be at risk of losing your head?

You can pick your friends, you can pick your nose, but you can't wipe your friends on the side of the sofa!

I buy all my strings by the box and I once ran into a box from a bad batch in which the G strings were breaking unusually fast, like after 15 minutes or so. They were Gore Elixer Nano-Web Phosphor Bronze and they kept breaking at the saddle. I broke out the macro lens and took some clear hi res close ups of the saddle and then I emailed the company and included the two best pics to prove my saddle was not the reason for the breakage. A week later I got a whole box of string sets (10 sets) and 4 smaller boxes each containing 4 G strings so 16 G strings. It was just a bad batch. After I got through that box I stopped having breakage issues. I still have about 8 extra G strings.

Just think of how awesome a guitar player you could have been by now if you had only spent the last 10 years practicing instead of obsessing over pickups and roasted maple necks.

My pick is frozen, but I think I need a bigger block of ice.

Oh Screamin your hilarious too. i strung my SX strat that i bought for fun with 11's and it plays great since i wanted to go heavier gauge. 9's are too easy for me i'd rather 11's im using Jim Dunlop 11's for the electric

I hate it when I´m asked to jam and hang out when I really don´t want to. Any ready-made answers for when this happens?

Why not just buy a single string to replace the one you broke? A lot of places sell them seperately.

I rarely break strings--and I do have some spares--but normally if I break one--it's time to change the whole set any ways.
