i remember several years ago, when an outdoor concert was cancelled due to the the rain. i was bummed until i saw the water that was still on the canvas stage cover. i can only imagine what could have happened.

I just heard about this tonight, being on vacation and not paying attention to the news, what a terrible terrible thing. Thoughts and prayers to all the families affected.

This kind of thing is starting to happen with scary regularity.Just recently at a Cheap Trick outdoor concert the stage collapsed and they got off the stage with seconds to spare.There should be safety codes adopted for these portable stages and limits put on the wind speeds that the stages be used in.It's just inviting disaster to put up a canvas top in a windy area as it acts like a sail and if a sudden gust comes up it just fills with air and sometimes they take off taking the stage and occupants with them as hapless passengers.Until safety standards are put into place these things are going to happen even more often.

Saw it on the news over here in the UK. Alarming to see and very tragic for those involved, thoughts go to their families.

absolutely dreadful. Prayers to all affected. I find it disturbing some of the insensitive, mean comments on some of the videos ive seen. What is wrong with people these days?
