I have been a lot of different things, but my career path is in business computing, and I've worked at various levels in many businesses, in and out of I.S.

I have a ton of credit hours in engineering, I.S., and business, but have only strung them together in a B.S. degree so far.

Currently, I am manager of business systems for an aftermarket, performance automotive parts manufacturer (if it can make you go fast, we probably make it).

I'm just a student studying Architecture in Glasgow. I hope to either work in architecture or graphics in the future. At the moment I am really enjoying my course, fascinating thing to study!

Failing that train driver on the west highland line would be awesome

(either that or studio musician/band - but that aint gonna happen :()

thats interesting... my immediate family has a few people who are in the art / architecture field.... my mom is a graphic art teacher and she does a lot of 3D modelling and such, its pretty neat actually once you learn to use some of those programs effeciently

College educated, Architectural Technologist. Wound up working in sales for the last 6 years with the same company, selling corrugated packaging. I love what I do and where I work.

Its pretty interesting when you look at all the different education and work backrounds we all come from, but we all synch up here with passion for a common ground.

I was a Trade Show Carpenter setting up shows like the car and boat shows. I was disabled while working and now I`m retired. I`m an artist since a kid so I do that now and play my guitar during the day to help pass some time.

I'm an Employee Benefits Underwriter/Consultant and have worked in Financial Services for 25+ years. My clients think they should save for retirement, but I encourage them to buy Fender Custom Shop Guitars and Basses instead. No one takes my advise, but me.

I have a BS in Finance and an MBA. I think maybe I should hang my diplomas from my Bass Amp at gigs.

Played guitar professionally for 5 years.

Worked in consumer finance for 6 years. Burned out, quit and went back to playing while going back to school to earn a degree in Computer Science.

Went to work for a very large chemical company as a Digital Systems Specialist. Did this for 4 years then transferred to Operations when job security got a little shaky. Had to go on swing-shift, but the salary tripled and has gone up ever since.

I've been in operations for 14 years and will retire next year, if I don't die in an explosion, at which time music will move back to the forefront.

I've had tons of jobs. I've worked in warehouses unloading boxes off trucks, or loading boxes onto trucks. I've worked with contractors digging dirt and hammering nails and stuff like that. I worked for a plumber for a while. I got a job working for a mortgage broker at one point and I learned a little bit about the mortgage industry from him. Right now I work for a mortgage lender. I do a little bit of data entry and I run background checks on mortgage brokers who are applying to do business with the company I work for.

First job: cleaning kennels. That lasted 3 days. Hey, I was only 15. Since then I've been landscaping, 4 years in the Navy (advanced studies in alcohol consumption), got a EE, started out repairing pagers and cell phones, moved into management (silly move). Worked a call center tech support. Coordinated the installation of cell phone systems around the country. Production manager for cell phone company. Burned out big time Aug 98. Went in one morning, left a note, walked out the door and headed into the foothills of Boulder, Co to burn something relaxing. Didn't work for about a year. Did some plumbing for new Safeway stores for a few months. Watched dad die from cancer late 99, two weeks later I was diagnosed with cancer too. I really have worked in 9 years. I thought I was going to take some time to smell the roses but got kinda carried away. Might have to go back to work soon. The market isn't lookin too good anymore.
