So some of you may remember that with the help of my guitar instructor, I came up with a medley of songs which I played at my school talent show. If you haven't seen it, here is the link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lBYP0y09Xpk

Anyways, this year I plan to do something like that only way cooler and impressive. I am going to do a Beatles fingerpicking medley! I just want some opinions on what grouping of songs I have is better. I had to group them by key otherwise it would sound pretty funny :) So here we go! (the songs italicized are the ones I would probably do)

List 1 - C Major (My Personal Favorite)
All You Need Is Love
A Day In The Life
In My Life
Let It Be
Something
We Can Work It Out
When I'm Sixty-Four

List 2 - G Major (My Second Favorite)
And I Love Her
Blackbird
Here, There and Everywhere
Hey Jude
The Long and Winding Road
Love Me Do
Nowhere Man
Octopus's Garden
Yellow Submarine
Yesterday

List 3 - D Major
Dear Prudence
Penny Lane
You've Got to Hide Your Love Away

List 4 - A Major
Can't Buy Me Love
Free As A Bird
Michelle
Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da
Ticket to Ride

I'm pretty excited or this medley. I'm getting all the tabs from the Hal Leonard book Fingerpicking Beatles so I already have the tabs. Any input about which parts of the songs would be really cool and which list is good would be welcomed! Thanks! 8)

BTW I'm doing this entire arrangement by myself so I'm super pumped for it!

I'm confused  Wouldn't it sound weird if the songs were all in different keys?

Essentially your medley would just have a few key changes in it, which is fine. Alternatively you could transpose them all into the same key.

Some music theory here:

Take blues in A. chords I, IV and V(first, fourth and fifth of the major scale). in the key of A I is the first, A. IV is the fourth, D. V is the fifth, E.

to transpose to E, for example, you still want I IV and V.

In E this is E, A, and B.

Do this same thing with the songs

But don't worry about key changes-if you have a few of these, spaced apart it will sound fine. You may want to have a slight pause between the songs in different keys, and some emphasis that this song is different to the previous song.

You can use different keys in the medley and change keys by "walking up" (or down) to them with single-note runs or fills. Listen to an original recording of Johnny Cash's "I Walk The Line," which has several key changes, and listen to how the guitarist "walks" into each key change. I know Johnny Cash is a long way from the Beatles, but that song is a good example of what I'm talking about. I would also try to keep the key changes within one full step, higher or lower, than where you start. That makes it easier to "walk" up or down to it.

The actual song may be written in G, but for the fingerstyle arrangement it must be in the key of D. No worries :D
