Don't know why he's not more popular over here. I think the Europeans have a better appreciation for the Blues than Americans do. Thanks

Yes, I think Europeans appreciate Blues more than the average American does. Certainly the Brits think quite highly of Walter as demonstrated in this BBC poll from the ‘90s where he's tied for sixth with Queen's Brian May.
