its really frustrating!!!

Yes glad I'm not alone on this..it's frustrating enough to suffer shorter warranty periods (ie in my country only 2 years, in USA I hear it's 5 years) and higher price but then we also get the middle finger in these competitions? It's very rude..and I'm not talking just about Europe, let's not forget other continents beside USA as well..

Man What is so rude? I didn´t see no fingers. I paid local tax and then 500 dollars duty to get my Fender into my country. Didn´t like it but hey, you can always go get yourself a chinese guitar somewhere that entered illegaly.

I AM AN AMERICAN: and have been entering contests like this all My life. I have yet to win anything. So Whats The Beef? Are the contests for real? Who knows, have you ever seen a winner holding his/her PRIZE? Have you ever actually seen a newly landscaped back yard won, as seen on TV, probably not. And you probably never will, so get over it. Contests are designed to keep you interested, and make your mouth water with the prospect of getting something for nothing. Maybe for once, when this one is over and someone has WON.The fine folks at The Fender CO. will show us Live, the actual PRESENTATION. Then we will see once and for all that someone actually did WIN. :shock:
