I'm a big RS fans, and you guys do them honors.

I met Keith when he played with Ronnie Woods on the 'The New Barbarians' tour in '79.

Thanks man! Guess what I'm playing through? 73' Champ and CVR running parallel. The CVR sounds amazing when turned up to about 3.5 but the volume is overpowering for the club. I ran the Champ cranked, and then had the CVR clean and matched the volumes between the two and just used my OD pedals where appropriate.

Gimme Shelter is my favorite Stones tune by far. And to say you guys did it justice would be an understatement! Great job on all those songs.

That's a huge compliment - thanks man! I'm the resident Stones nut of the group (Keith is my #1 influence) so I'm very picky about sounding authentic. I'm not concerned with doing some ridiculous dress up act and then sounding like crap (there's plenty of those tribute bands to go around). I'm the one who's telling the band which version of each song we're working off of (live or recorded - and which live version  ).

Quite welcome sir. And to be honest, I'm not much of a Stones fan but they do have a few great songs and Gimme Shelter is certainly one of them.
