i know this is off the theme of guitars being a movie but... I just saw this movie and LOVED it. Streamed it off Netflix thinking it would be utterly stupid and was completely taken by surprise. Great action movie, great story, great characters, great music to go with it, and taboot... Nicholas Cage was actually really good in it. If you haven't seen it, its definitely worth checking out, however, DON'T watch it with the kids... language is very potty mouth LOL.

haven't set foot in a comic book store in about 18 years but i found myself at midtown comics yesterday picking up the first two issues in the next run.

anyone else see it and enjoy it as much as i did?

I saw it and had no idea what I was in for. I thought it was very good. They did a good job of keeping that cooky comic book feel instead of the drawn out motion picture movies that the majority of these comics come to life films have become. It's not Sin City but it's good!

I thought it was utterly stupid in the best possible way.
Scott Pilgrim Versus The World is another similarly great film

I bought the DVD on sale after seeing the previews on another DVD. I thoroughly enjoyed it and my son loved it, though HIS sons are too young for it yet. That little girl definitely kicked some serious butt - literally!
