So I finally bit the bullet tonight and bought my first electric guitar since my strat two years ago. A recent discovery of ZZ Top and the amazing tones coaxed from the thing in "Solidbodies: The 50 year Guitar War" added to my slowly-growing LP gas prompted the purchase of an Agile AL-3100 CSBF (Cherry SunBurst Flame).

Can't wait to receive this thing next week. Unfortunately I'll only have a few weeks to enjoy it as I'm returning to school in 3 weeks and only have room for one guitar - of course my strat.

Pics and maybe a video to come upon receiving the beast.

Neither have I, you can only buy them out of this shop in like New Hampshire or something or their online store. They're Korean Made so it's really cheap (this one was $400) but all the reviews are amazing. Also,

Alnico 5 humbuckers
1 piece neck
Ebony fretboard
Jumbo frets (yay! I would love to have them on my strat)
Graphtec nut

if its as good as the sum of its parts I can't wait to get my grubby mitts on it

Congrats, Brian--she looks like a real beauty!

I have played a couple of used Agile guitars, and I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and finish...hopefully you'll be very happy with yours, just remember it might have to be set up upon arrival (biggest problem with "budget" guitars).

...and to feed your growing ZZ Top obsession, remember that several of BFG's famous solos were on a hardtail Strat (LaGrange, Blue Jean Blues, several others)...

I've definitely heard some strattiness in there - not that there was any chance of this ever replacing my strat anyway. I only wish mine were a hardtail :/ I might just forgo the setup for a while... Like I said, I only get it for three weeks and then it's my brother's to enjoy while I'm away at school. Why pay when he'll be the main player? :P

I have seen them, not played them. They look nice. Let us know if you like it. I too am in the market for a LP style guitar, so interested in this brand as well.

It looks nice and I would sure like to see pics once you get it and hear some details about it. It would also be nice to see a Youtube video of it. Anyways... I would bring the new guitar to school so you can get used to its new characteristics. You've had the strat for awhile now, after all you bought it for a reason right? Just sayin'.
