I have been using Planet Waves Circuit Breaker Cables for years. About 3 months ago the circuit breaker switch shorted out. I threw the cable in a box and forgot about it and bought a new one.
Two weeks ago I was going through that box and found the cable. I contacted Planet Waves (D'Addario) and asked if I trimmed the cable and purchased a replacement Circuit Breaker end if that would work.
They told me to fill out a form to get an RMA # and return the cable for a replacement cable. The new cable arrived today.

Planet Waves cables say " Guaranteed For Life" and they mean it!!!

My hat's off to another company that stands behind their products!!

Gotta love lifetime guarantees! Should be the same deal with my Mogami cables, but these things could probably suspend a bridge, and I doubt I'll ever have to replace one.

Hi Chet! I have three Planet Waves cables. Two are speaker cables for my gig rig, they are the Neutrik type connectors. Those cables are just slightly smaller in diameter than my auto jumper cables. Excellent and they never get hot. I have one PW instrument cable and it is the second best sounding one I have, which means it beats Monster Bass cables. The best sounding instrument cable I have is a M.I.T. Ripcord which is unquestionably the best passive instrument cable I've ever seen. I like the Planet Waves cables a lot. I doubt I'll ever buy another Monster.

Excellent bits of kit. The ability to 'switch' off the cable when you change guitars with a live amp is a godsend. And a quality piece of wire that doesn't tie itself into loops as you move around. Necessarily - but not excessively - expensive, which makes you appreciate and value this part of the guitar to amp circuit.

I've had two circuit breakers, and I've needed to replace them both. I didn't got through planet wave though, the shop here in belfast as which I bought them replaces them without even looking at a receipt.

Now that is a warranty. I have been using monster cables for years, never had a problem, but can't beat a warranty like that...I know what I will be switching too if one of those monsters ever goes bad.

Cool Chet. Live Wire cables are lifetime, I have replaced a couple of those at GC, and I think they will exchange Monster and Mogami too although I haven't had one of those break on me so far.

I bought a Planet Waves Capo not long ago- I must say that the quality is good and the value compared to others, pretty awesome!!

$30 bucks mate- the most expensive was $75!

I like hearing about companies that really get behind their products :D
