If you are going to troll a guitar site with stolen pictures of some amazing guitar that you are going to claim to own, don't steal the ones with the copyright notice super'ed in the middle.

I mean, f'realz.

At best, he's a kid trying to impress us with a lie.

At worst, he's a liar trying to con us.

In the long run, it didn't work either way.

I wonder if we'll see him any more.

Or given that he posted a third picture of yet another obviously different guitar on another thread, also claiming it was Buddy Holly's and in his possession - it could all be intended as an amusing in-joke.

But if so then I think on a public internet forum a joke needs a slightly more obvious punchline. (See, we're all giving you alternate outs, FenderGuy1. Take one, would be friendly advice.)

Anyway. So happens I am the owner of Jimi Hendrix's genuine, actual Strat, the one he burned at Monterey. I was sold it by his daughter. Or mother. Or someone. Anyone want to buy it for a million dollars? Here it is - a picture I've just taken myself in my White Room:

Er - I think it's a white room with a lot of padding, down here at the "special" hospital in the countryside. [Calling] "Nurse, nurse! I need more meds: the computer screen is talking to me again..."

You guys are too good, so I guess if I posted a picture of my Sunburst Les Paul and told you it once belonged to Jimmy Page  you wouldn't believe me :(
All to sad that Buddy Holly didn't live long enouigh to wear out a strat like the one in the first picture.
