Reverend Horton Heat

Damn CA, you and me must be on the same mind wavelength. I was just thinking about the Reverend and you posted it. And he rates a solid 9 in my book, but I like rockabilly!

LOL. Cool. I like me some good Rockabilly too!

What about Mike Mccready? (Pearl Jam guitarrist)

Grunge made pretty. I give Mike a 7 and a half. Too bad flanel is out of style.

8/10 Noteworthy guitarist. Will probably be in the RnR Hall of Fame with Yes.

10+!

He invented stuff that nobody's even picked up on yet. Incredible finger work, subtle dynamics, perfect time, an icon of his genre, and much deserved. With sensitivity to tone that still amazes today.

Sonny Sharrock

8.5
a great guitarist

Van Halen

If you haven't heard his work, go to projectplaylist.com and search Eruption, but it'd be a disgrace if you haven't heard of him before

I am checking him out. In the meantime Alex Liefson, gosh he is such a technical artist but also has the emotion. I gotta give Alex a 9.5 in my book. Probably the one of the best "ROCK/PROG/Fill in the Blank" guitar players. Certainly my favorite Canadian axe slinger.
