I saw George and The Beatles in '66 at Suffolk Downs and although it was hard to hear the music over the screaming crowd, I really liked what I heard. It got better as time progressed. RIP George. 9/10.

King of Clean, all Fender, tasty, minimalist, not much of a soloist but like George Harisson, a real studio head who worked out amazing lines and riffs.

Santo & Johnny (gotta take em as a team)

I think they're original version of "Sleepwalk" is the best, but haven't heard any of their other material. 8/10

"Eddie Van Halen has enthused about Holdsworth in an issue of Guitar Player magazine, saying "That guy is bad! He's fantastic; I love him", and that Holdsworth was "the best, in my book"."Frank Zappa once lauded him as "one of the most interesting guys on guitar on the planet". I liked him best with Tony Williams on Tony's album Million Dollar Legs.

Even though his younger brother gets the majority of the fame and spotlight with his blazing guitar solos , this guitarist is the backbone of this band due to his steady rhythm guitar playing.

Not a flashy player, but always in the pocket, always knows the right voicing, always has GREAT tone.

Sorry to high jack the game, but on the reply to this post, someone rated Mr. Sexton a 6?

He's an excellent innovator, perfect if you need an ambience created, great if you need a lead guitarist, awesome songwriter, producer and sideman...

...and that's ignoring his singing!

Don't judge him by his "Beats So Lonely" album...listen to everything from the Arc Angels and afterward. If you aren't impressed then, :? :?: ...

BTW, Tom Sholtz...6/10

Great technical skills, excellent electronics master. Played the same song thirty times, and released them on three albums...not a fan.

Lets go to the other side of the spectrum:

Theodore Roosevelt "Hound Dog" Taylor
