No, you didn't miss anything other than the big meet. I'm in London now...that photo was taken yesterday; first time I saw it in person, but a few weeks ago, I got together with Niki, Ceri, and Alex here in London and we had a wonderful day shmoozing about all kinds of topics.

How was Sardinia? Got photos? Itching to see...

I'm out of town right now but back Sunday. You have my number: gissa call if you like - more stuff to be done...

Cheers - C

a question for the Londoners, is the soap box thing still happening on Sunday's at "speakers corner" or is that before y'alls time?

Hi SBLS: yep, it still exists. It's kinda for the tourists really - I expect it's in the guidebooks and they all go for a look. I believe a very long time ago genuine political debate happened there, but for more years than I can remember it's just a mixture of nutters, people with way out religious lines to pedal and students practicing their speaking technique.

Last time I went past there was a youngish long haired Dave Gilmour looking guy with a mischievous gleam in his eye who seemed to be arguing one way on some topical issue or other, but as soon as someone agreed with him he took the other direction, much to people's confusion. Soon he got various people in the crowd arguing angrily with each other and then when nobody was looking he quietly stepped down off his box and tiptoed away. He caught my eye and winked at me wickedly as he departed... 8)

It is seldom as fun as that, though.

Cheers - C

thanks Ceri, good to hear that Sundays at that corner of Hyde Park there is still activity. I really enjoyed the banter and the weekends I stayed in London no matter how hungover I would go to be in the crowd of lookers and listeners.

Thanks for the thought, but London survived 2 years nightly bombing by Adolf and his chums.. She'll survive a few anarchist shite heads who think the world owes them the right not to earn a living, and that Policing doesn't apply to them.

At least Gilmour jnr won't be there this time..

Heads down and stay off the streets guys..
