Well, after a 30 hour marathon drive we are in Kingston and waiting on our household goods to arrive this friday! I must say Kingston is an absolutely gorgeous town and living on the lake is a really great life. I will post some pics once my new studio is set up and give everyone a chance to see what a beautiful city we are so lucky to live in looks like!
ABS :D

Glad you are enjoying Jamaica.

What Kingston?...there's a dozen of them. I lived a year in Kingston. Ontario. In Atlantic Canada we used to go to Kingston, Nova Scotia and play at he Apple festival.

Kingston Ontario :)

I taught a semester at the Royal Military College 'way back' in 1981. I had been a lowly private 'nobody' in the Israeli army before coming to Canada so it was weird having all these future officers stand at attention for me when I entered the classroom.

Kingston has a lot of history. I used to like stolling around Fort Henry. Also did some fishing and sailing in Dead Man's Bay and environs.

I usually hate to say I told you so, but I told you Kingston, ON was nice.
You can't avoid Tim Horton's once north of the border, they're on every corner.
And let's hear back from you in January, you'll be wishin' it was Kingston, Jamaca, and I'll be wishin' I didn't have to say I told you so again.
For me, I've been looking a real estate is Las Vegas, almost ready to retire and the prices are hard to resist.

Hope it works out well for you and your family.

Glad you arrived safe and sound, guess you and Mrs. A. will be up to your eyebrows in boxes this weeek-end.
Moving doesn't suck Bll, it's all that packing and unpacking that gets in the way.

Cheers,
John.E

Welcome to Canada enjoy...Kingston is nice but depending on what part you're living in you might consider getting a Brita filter for your taps.
