6 to 8 bucks?
You should try Canadian prices.
11 to 12 bucks down here but well over 15 up north.
The most expensive pack I ever bought was 18 bucks in a vending machine about an hour north of Ft. Mcmurray.

The first 5 days are just a test, now if you have any Tobacco in the house throw it in the toilet. It has no value to you anymore. Fight like you have never fought before. This time your fighting for your life. In a fue weeks just the smell of tobacco smoke will sicken you. From that point it starts to get a little easier. Just think how proud you will be to say "I DONT SMOKE". Good luck with the struggle :) :) :)

I'm now 5 days closer to my Rickenbacker and going through withdrawal like you wouldn't believe but when the cravings hit me I just pick up the book of beautiful Ricks that I bought the other day and that helps drive the craving away.8 months won't go fast enough for my liking.

Are we at day 7? thats the toughest now it should be getting easier. Have you flushed your tobacco reserve yet if not do it now or it will start working on you. I am not trying to be a smart $@! just trying to make you think. Good Luck, and keep up the fight :!: :)

Yes Dan this is day 7 almost over with and it's been about the worst as far as cravings go but it's another hurdle passed.I really appreciate all the postive reinforcement that you guys have been giving me,thanks very much.I just ordered myself a treat out of some of the money I've saved to celebrate one week without smokes.

I just ordered King Crimson-Court Of The Crimson King,Emerson,Lake and Palmer-Lucky Man and Queen-Sheer Heart Attack.I don't have Sheer Heart Attack despite Tenement Funster being my favourite Queen song.A band I was in years ago used to do a dynamite version of Tenement Funster-one of my favourite lead breaks to play-a real challenge, heavy on the flanger.

I feel your pain. I smoked for 16 years. Quitting smoking was the hardest thing I ever did. It was the best too. Don't give in and sneak one. If you do, you have to start all over. Ask yourself this, why put yourself through the agony if you are just going to cheat and start all over again. YOU...........CAN................DOOOOO.............ITTTTT.

Eventually you'll wonder why you ever smoked. Seriously, you'll feel that much better.

As a side note I would still crave one every now and then for a year or so after I quit. That being said, the craving always passed after a minute. Never give in. After a year had passed I treated myself to a cigar on the golf course. It helped a lot too. I don't smoke those too often anymore either.

GS,
One week down, the rest of your life to go, keep at it, every day from here on out is another smoke free and healthier day for you and those around you.

What color Ricky?

For the 325 or 350 it will be Jet-Glo(black) but for the 360/12 it will be Fire-Glo(cherry burst).

I'm well into day 8 and the cravings were bad this morning but I took a Champix and they wore off after a few minutes.I just have to remain focused and keep my eye on the prize-A new Rick.

Rickenbackers are beautiful guitars, good on you guitslinger!

Here's an easy decision: Bad Health with nothing to show for it -OR- feeling healthy all the time AND a brilliant high-end guitar to boot!

I'll have the kettle boiled-there's nothing like a new guitar to get your mind off smokes.BTW did you decide on buying that Marshall after?
