We need a Jan Brewer someone who will defend the Constitution as written and not twist it's meaning saying ridiculous things like it a breathing living document. It is what it is and if some want to change something there is a process to do so and have the States ratify it.
There is nothing that says separation between Church and Government in the Constitution. The 1st just denies the government from establishing a specific Church run State. The so called wall come from a letter written by Jefferson in early 1800's The Danbury Baptist letter where mention of a wall of separation was used as a excuse to read new meaning into the 1'st. but it does not say that in the Constitution but it was that letter that said it and not the Constitution as ratified by the states as such.

The Second amendment needs to be protected where law abiding citizens should be allowed to protect them selfs and poses an carry fire arms

The 6th amendment which is being ignored all over the Country with the use of cameras for traffic laws removing the right to face your accuser . How do you question a camera or it's settings an operation condition.

There is many more, we need a President and Congress to revert back to the Constitution and follow the writings as there original meaning. It is easy to see when the U.S. stated to go down hill. That was when politicians started using the Courts to establish laws. Socialist programs started and the push to make every thing be fair and equal to all which is just a costly failed practice and will never happen no matter how much money you throw into a socialist program. Welfare has breed multi generations of welfare families. The dumbing down of the education system so that more can qualify for Collage or job positions has failed us. We are the first generation in America to be worst off then our Parents, ask yourself why and when did this turn around start?

Done rambling!

  YES!! VERY GOOD!!! :!: :!: :!:

(I just wish some "voters" could LEARN from not only your short message, but from the mess the USA is in right now!) (HINT -- Obama, and his party, was, and is a mistake. Republicans are NO better. Look for someone that will represent the people, and follow, and protect our rights!)

I would like to reiterate Floyd's cry for a cease fire. I've been around guitar boards for enough years to know that once politics starts to become the normal topic of conversation the board eventually degenerates into a good old boys club where all those who do not tow the line with the majority are belittled until they eventually leave. It is an absolutely un-democratic action which completely invalidates the opinions of the majority. I say invalidates because the so called winners become losers who can't or won't tollerate a differeing opinion. They become babies and their actions prove their child like mentality, not to mention the fact that undemocratic actions in the name of politics is utterly stupid.. I have witnessed this before on several guitar boards and it NEVER ends well. Please don't let it happen here. Find some other place to vent your poitical frustrations.

Please stop posting political threads on this board. Please.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, "democracy seems like a good idea...until you spend five minutes with the average voter". When I was young, I had a lot of hope for the future and what education was accomplishing for us. Years later I can only shake my head at the stupidity of this country, and wonder what the hell went wrong. We need to wake up, come together and delete whatever isn't for the good of us citizens. Don't be brainwashed by interests who have the $$$ to be constantly heard.

I honestly don't know who to trust anymore. They all lie to us. The democrats are not the same as the 1950's democrats. I think the party got taken over by the elite left. The republicans will break your heart over and over. They pretend to be conservative and then they get there and lay down. You would think they would have learned their lesson after the 90's. They (both sides) keep telling us the sky is falling. 535 jerks. They party and live their life of privilege while we worry and fuss. Professional politicians are really hurting this country. They destroy anyone who attempts to limit their power.

Sorry to sound so bleak, but I have followed this song and dance for a long time and it can be depressing. The longer I live the more Libertarian I become.

Thank you. He is small, furry and wise. He knows not to talk politics. Terrible breath, though.

He thinks he's good looking, too. :P

I think somebody is confusing Fender Lounge with this forum http://www.politicalforum.com/

Just saying that this topic probably belongs there instead of here. :)
