The cats in the '60's didn't have much choice in the axes they took off the walls in the local shops. They got famous, and now copies of their gear brings in big bucks, right down to the simulated sweat drops and their pet's fur lodged under the pickguard edges. OK, I'm exaggerating.

So what would your signature model be out of the axes you play?

Mine would have to be my Blue Flower Pbass that I modded by putting a '62 P-Pup and bridge on, and removed the pickguard. Now I just have to hurry up and wear it out so the CS can get some good, defined wear lines in the finish to copy so the customers won't email Mike complaining about it not being just like mine. Oh. yes, and I must get famous first. Gotta work on that too. Ha ha!

Basically if I was having a signature guitar built, I'd like to basically copy my Blackout Tele, but with a fatter neck, and Texas Specials.

I still have a good length of the vinyl flames left so they won't have to work too hard to find them  . Although, it's more than a long shot that I would ever have a sig. guitar.

Location: location, location.
A jazz bass with no body contours, in black, dakota red, or sonic blue with white double binding and matching headstock. Maple fretboard on black or blue models, rosewood on red.
Badass II bridge,
Wizard bass combo pickups set (hs).
Individual volume and tone controls, and a side mounted jack socket.
The same neck profile as on my mim standard.

I'd make mine a Blizzard Pearl American Standard Tele with a humbucker in place of the regular neck pickup. I would demand that a lefty version be made available at the same cost as a righty.
