I apologize if this has already been discussed - I searched, and couldnt find anything related - so anyway...

Whats your opinions of these guitars? I realize they are made in Korea and all that - Their quality assurance team apparently really go over these guitars and only top quality is released to the US market - Just curious what people think about these? I recently picked up a couple of them, just liked the way they played - some cool vibes coming out of them - I have a roomful of Fenders and a few Gibsons, PRS - lots of guitars - just thought id give them a try, something new to play around with - What ya think??

I played one several years ago and liked it, but it wasn't anything too special (to me). Not sure which model it was, but it was the same as the one Kid Rock was playing at the time.

They're funky guitars. Like the slightly retro fantasy look of them very much.

Never had the chance to play one as there are no dealers of those instruments in my home town. I've read only good reviews of them, for whatever that's worth..

Don't knock Korean manufacturers. They make great instruments for alot less money. Samick has been making great pianos and good student level guitars for years. Gretsch Electromatic series manufactured in Korea. St. Blues Guitars made in Korea put together in US. Same with Reverend. If you talk to a Reverend player he really likes his instrument. I think they make a good guitar.

I have played several Reverends--and I liked all of them.

They're like an old Fender combined with an old Danelectro or Teisco Del Rey, except well made. The newer models that have the P90 pickups are monstrously great.

The local guitar shop here in Nowhere, OK is an authorized dealer. Since they like me, they always let me play them when they get a new one in...

I like them a lot. I use my friends quite a bit when I sit in with them. The blend control is great, the neck is fast and the pickups sound incredible. He likes me to wring it out for him now and then.

+1...Schecter is another company who's main lines of guitars are built in Korea, and top notch quality as far as I'm concerned.
