I'm looking for a tuner / metronome for practice. I've been looking at the Boss DB-60, and DB-90 which look good so far. Any tips on what may be best for a price range between 100.00 and 200.00? :?:

How about a little cheaper?

I use a Sabine MT9000 Metrotune - it was less than $40, it's portable, works for both acoustic and electric. Available at lots of online stores - I picked mine up at a local guitar dealer - Guitar Sam.

I also have a Fender PT-100 Tuner on my pedal board. But I use the Sabine when I change strings and t fits in my gig bag.

I've got the Boss DB-30, I know that it is not a tuner but it does have pitch on it so you can use it to tune. For the price (less the 40) you can't go wrong.

The PT-100 isn't bad. But about 3 weeks after I got mine it broke. I upgraded to a Korg, it was only about $100 and the features are fantastic http://www.samedaymusic.com/product--KORDT10BR

I have the Montego Black one. I had to have that one. :D It works quite well - I like it.

I got it after I had the Sabine. It can't hurt to have two tuners - especially a small portable one that is also a Metronome.

I also use a Metronome that is in the Gerabox software that I use with my Line6 Toneport KB37 MIDI Keyboard and Audio Interface. The nice thing about that one - you hear in the monitor mix, but it doesn't get recorded.

I have the PT 10. Smaller readout than the PT 100, but it works good.

I have a Pair of Rebocks I use for a metronome. Cowboyboots work even better.

I like Korg tuners as they seem to be pretty accurate, and best of all CHEAP!

Petersen Strobostomp tuner handsdown. A DR880 drum machine for the beat.

I've had good luck with the Intellitouch PT-1 intrument tuner, which clips on to the headstock of your guitar, bass, or other stringed instrument.

For metronome I use guitarpro.
For tuning I use a java tuner found on the web. There's nothing like an ear to tune things right (except when it's too noisy, or course).
