Well dude. Be my guest. I play with 13's.

Then quit complaining....oh wait, you're tougher than most and play with 13's....you know what "dude",even SRV didn't use 13's all the time and he had to use super glue to seal his fingertips and nails back together according to legend,so you're in for a long hard road.

Me either,it's more like punishment,....much like being forced to listen to that Beeber kid, while practicing your tuba.

I'm worse, I use 9's...

"Justin Bieber while practicing tuba"? The CIA could use that for "enhanced interrogation techniques!" The prisoner would be talking in a second.

That kind of torture is probably against the Geneva convention, though.

11's are not bad. 12's for Eb or D. I could see using 13's for Eb but not for E.

It's odd that the original poster,"Siggxtreem",in this thread, has erased his remarks...wonder why? he started it,not T2Stratman.

You could switch to a lighter gauge or flatwounds.I use 8-38s and my fingertips only have gotten either bit sore after playing a weeklong gig at a club or a day-night long marathon jam.
