Good Morning All.....

Looks like another scorcher on the way here in Blaine. I have a busy day with yardwork and such but I will be taking time to photograph and play the new 1980 Deluxe Reverb. I feel lucky that I now have a nice complement of fine amplifiers ( Deluxe Reverb and Sweet Spot) in my arsenal in which I can pound out the blues.

I hope everyone has a stellar day and burn up those fret boards!!!!

G'day Beaubs and all

Just finished coffee over here. We're selling another car: had a couple of tiny touch-ups done on the paintwork and today need to thoroughly valet it inside and out and then photograph it in nice sunlight for the website.

Then work in the garden followed by work on my guitar playing! :D

Have a good weekend everyone - C

Hello Beaubs and all!
Saw the pic of the DR Beaubs....nice catch there.

Well upper 70's low 80's are the temps for today. Not much humidity until later so I have to get out there and work on the house. Been striping and priming the bad spots, some rotted spots need to be gouged out and filled in. I'll be staining the house this fall and as with any other project, it's all in the prep work.

Stay cool everyone.

Hi Beaubs and all the good folks of the Forum.
We got the sun back again here in Manchester UK, so I'll catch a few rays.
Just made a mug of joe and been playing the tele earlier, now I'm gonna lay back, just like my music was early on.
Have a good one y'all.
Cheers

Good Morning Beaubs and all! Here in south central North Carolina USA we have set some kind of record for number of days in July over 90. We also have not had much rain. What rain we've gotten in July has been the widely scattered showers and thunderstorms where it rains like crazy for just a few minutes. It was 100 at Charlotte NC airport yesterday and predicted for 100 today. But here it isn't the heat, it is the humidity and ozone. The humidity makes 80 seem sweltering and the ozone burns your throat if you try to do much outdoors that requires anything strenuous.

On the plus side, ac is working! Plan to have sort of a do nothing day. Might go to a music shop and look for a Blacktop bass, but don't hold out much hope of finding one. Just want to check them out.

Good mornin' forumites,
It's been HHH here on the east coast (hazy hot and humid), we caught the bottom half of a tornado warning last night, lots of rain, thankfully no wind. It's breezy and not too hot now, so yard work it is.
Ceri good luck with the car, we sold one of ours two days ago, sold the sedan and kept the 4 wheel drive. Last winter made the choise a no-brainer.

Play 'em if you got 'em,
John.E

Good morning Beaubs and thanks for the "Good Morning" thread. I remember the controversy over it in the beginning - "hey, we're a guitar forum."

Beautiful day here in paradise. (Finally!) Much appreciated after the miserable winter/spring/summer so far.

Hope you all have a fantastic, musical day!!

Peace, Gridlok 8)

Another Jag Ceri?

No, those days are gone. :(

But at the end of it all another guitar, for sure! :D

A certain Forum user has just been tempting me with a big orange hollowbody jazz guitar complete with Bigsby and a pair of toaster pickups, all in solid, non-laminated maple and for a stupidly reasonable price. I'm trying to think of sensible reasons why I don't need it - and not having much success...

Cheers - C

Hello Beaubs you've had a busy day and I'm just coming around, just in time for the guitar playing part of the day I guess. Hello Fender Forum too. You are all making music by now and that makes for a rock and roll Saturday night. Everyone have a great weekend.

Sounds like a Gretch possibly? I played one a few weeks ago and liked it very much. Instantly felt right. Oh, and good morning everyone. We've got intermittent light rain with a possibility of thunder showers later in LA. I plan on going swimming no matter what, I need the exercise.
