Once upon a time Taj and Jimi had an impromptu jam in a hotel room,the jam was taped on a good portable reel to reel but sadly the tape disappeared shortly after,if that memorable tape is still out there it would be worth a fortune and well worth listening to.

Taj is also a National Treasure that truly deserves a position in the Blues Hall of Fame. Got drunk with him on a bottle of Tequila in '69. He showed up early for a show by two days. I was at the venue buying tickets. For all you Led Zep fans check out Taj's first LP to see where the riffs came from. The Rising Sons where the best blues based band in L.A. in the early sixties and Jesse Ed Davis was the Man!
