But basically, compared to past deployments right now, the major cells we strike against are way more disorganized. They don't cover as great an area, they don't hold the sway and support they used to have with the people, we have so many countermeasures, their numbers are smaller, and with every failure of theirs or every major strike we nail, more infighting seems to occur.

It's a good feeling that I can actually see a difference made. That said, our biggest failure has been establishing infrastructure, and if we fail to take this oppurtunity then it will all have been for naught.

You think they could just be getting smarter? How do you defeat a Country that you can't beat Militarily ? Could it be economically, control the Worlds largest energy supplies? Take advantage of a clueless leader who refuses to tap his own energy supplies? Coal one of the largest reserves in the World, Alaska Reserves, Gulf reserves.

Now our leadership sits on it's hands while the Muslim Brotherhood quietly increases power in middle eastern countries under the guise of democracy. Things are more dangerous now then a couple years ago. The silence before the storm! Be assured of it!
Well can we blame them, what does a dog do when its backed into a corner? I mean really, we divided their rightfully conquered land, we fueled their civil wars, we label them as terrorists, really, I mean I applaud peaceful protest over their method of violence, but really what would you do if people from a rival religion takes your land, a whole other country invokes civil war, then proceeds to force his ideals upon you.
I take there is a safe amount of religous people here so here's an example:

Your pastor has been forced by the mayor to allow Jewish people to have access to the Chapel Hall of your Church. All of a sudden their are more Jews in your church than the its intended religion, so the mayor says, you take the Chapel and give the Jews the main Worship Hall. Soon, more Jews arrive and need the Chapel, thus take it. So eventually your forced to either convert or go elsewhere. What would you do? Allow it to happen or fight back in attempt to regain your way of life?

Im not saying I completley agree with their methods, as I have said peaceful protest as MLK or Gandhi used were obviously more effective, though.

Neg Creep,

You missed the point when you said we (America) pushed it's system of government onto other countries (Vietman, etc,.)...those countries had governments that were not only corrupt, but were killing their own people en mass to stay in power and enslave thier own people. This is not something our government does...Our Country has always stood for people having the right (that I might point out you have, even as misguided as you seem to be) to live the way they wish in FREEDOM.

Vietnam (and Iran is a prime example of this as is most of the middle east for example) are using a dictatorial system or as in the case of the middle east corrupting a religion to CONTROL thier people. Do you honestly think those people if they had a legitimate choice would rather be under the system of government they are or would they rather be living in a Free Nation?

You might want to spend some time learning abit about world politics first hand as I have done, before you throw out some of the crap you did. You also said you stand alone on this...that should be a BIG hint that maybe you are just wrong...be big enough to admit that and you might actually take a step towards being not only a better human being, but a better citizen of this country. Whether you agree with everything this country does, you as a citizen have a responsibility to get involved with making it better, not tearing it down with opinions you picked up from someone else, but based on what you have done or accomplished for yourself. I hope this helps you gain a better understanding of what it truely means to live in a Free Country.

But really, who are we to decide whats moral and immoral, who are we to get in between a civil war or fight a countries political beliefs. Were not the freakin World Police. I mean I know what they do is wrong, but theyre a different people from a different walk of life who have it way worse than us. As for the people, theyre rebelling, look at how Egypt invoked the whole area to rise up. Its theyre life's, they can deal with it, we did it, we cant be Superman and save the whole world. "You either die a hero or you live long enough to see yourself become the villain." An as for the maybe Im wrong crap becuz I stand alone, the whole world at one time though Earth was flat, a handful of men changed that. Just sitting there saying "Everything is fine, just live, the government knows best, God Bless America, we're perfect" gets us no where. Ignorance may be bliss.

I am English, and am sorry for this self doubt that is creaping into the American mentality.
You are still a great nation, and you will find your way again, for all our good.
After WW2, the Soviets were a serious threat to all our freedoms, and many of the US actions, wrong as they seem now to many, were to thwart the greater threat, Russia.

I grew up during the Cold War, and it was very real. The US, standing strong, was very responsible for us winning.
We owe a lot to Ronald Reagan and Margaret Thatcher for holding their nerve while many doubters faltered.

We are all enjoying our cheap toys from China, but at what cost in the long run.
This is the big mistake, and the drag of all those fat cats that feel they are entitled to be paid way more than the rest of us.

Well as for what is moral or immoral...Again you need to have some convictions that wishy washy "who are we to say what is moral or immoral" is a cop out...I KNOW the difference between right and wrong, moral and immoral and am not afraid to say it. This political correctness BS is just that...a BS Cop out from having to DO anything about what is right or wrong...again maybe you should act...not sit here and argue with someone who has stood up to be counted and do the right thing for people who cannot do it themselves!

Takes who's land? Jewish people have been there since Biblical times, the Israelites ruled for hundreds of years. That territory has been ruled by Greeks, Romans, Persians, then the Muslims took over The look at a more recent map of the Crusader states, there has always been a Jewish presence in the region.
