I'm more convinced than ever the end is in sight out here. There is no organization anymore, we overestimate everything and it just seems there is no communication between forces and they are all in total disarray. I never ever thought I would say this but I think the situation is actually manageable now.

You'll never ever be able to actually elimionate terrorism in any way, but the majour cells are crumbling.

On top of that, I'm finding that locals and TCN(third country nationals) are way more cooperative than ever.

I can't really elaborate too much just because what I do(USN Special Warfare Combatcraft Crewman).

But basically, compared to past deployments right now, the major cells we strike against are way more disorganized. They don't cover as great an area, they don't hold the sway and support they used to have with the people, we have so many countermeasures, their numbers are smaller, and with every failure of theirs or every major strike we nail, more infighting seems to occur.

It's a good feeling that I can actually see a difference made. That said, our biggest failure has been establishing infrastructure, and if we fail to take this oppurtunity then it will all have been for naught.

No beer. But smokes are easy to get, lots of girls around if you care to partake. And I have a badass soundsystem in my chu(combat housing unit) along with 2 axes.

I'm not a good example of military discipline, I'm with a NSW(Navy Special Warfare-SEAL, SWCC, EOD, Divers) unit and they frequently call us unruly, unshaved undisciplined cowboys since we kind of do what we want=\

I appreciate the sentiment a lot Danny.

And to RFUS-OBL didn't have a huge impact to be honest, aside from IDF(indirect fire-rockets, mortars, etc) attacks going up a little.

It's nice to hear about the situation from the guys right in the middle of it all and while the situation seems to be getting better over there don't let your guard down.

I wish I knew a great way to say thanks but all I can think to say is Thank You. You know we all appreciate what you're doing.

We are terrorist, we might not have caused the war, but we allowed it to happen, thus are just responsible:

1. 1953: U.S. overthrows Prime Minister Mohammed Mosaddeq of Iran. U.S. installs Shah as dictator.
2. 1954: U.S. overthrows democratically-elected President Arbenz of Guatemala. 200,000 civilians killed.
3. 1963: U.S. backs assassination of South Vietnamese President Diem.
4. 1963-1975: American military kills 4 million people in Southeast Asia.
5. September 11, 1973: U.S. stages 1973 Chilean coup d'état in Chile. Democratically-elected President Salvador Allende assassinated. Dictator Augusto Pinochet installed. 3,000 Chileans murdered.
6. 1977: U.S. backs military rulers of El Salvador. 70,000 Salvadorans and four American nuns killed.
7. 1980s: U.S. trains Osama bin Laden and fellow terrorists to kill Soviets. CIA gives them $3 billion.
8. 1981: Reagan administration trains and funds the Contras. 30,000 Nicaraguans die.
9. 1982: U.S. provides billions of dollars in aid to Saddam Hussein for weapons to kill Iranians.
10. 1983: The White House secretly gives Iran weapons to kill Iraqis.
11. 1989: CIA agent Manuel Noriega (also serving as President of Panama) disobeys orders from Washington. U.S. invades Panama and removes Noriega. 3,000 Panamanian civilian casualties.
12. 1990: Iraq invades Kuwait with weapons from U.S.
13. 1991: U.S. enters Iraq. Bush reinstates dictator of Kuwait.
14. 1998: Clinton bombs possible weapons factory in Sudan. Factory turns out to be making aspirin.
15. 1991 to present: American planes bomb Iraq on a weekly basis. U.N. estimates 500,000 Iraqi children die from bombing and sanctions.
16. 2000-2001: U.S. gives Taliban-ruled Afghanistan $245 million in aid.
17. Sept. 11, 2001: Osama bin Laden uses his expert CIA training to murder 3,000 people.
18. 2010: International Monetary Fund places the total U.S. debt at 96.3% of GDP, ranked 12th highest against other nations. We do nothing.

Not onyl have we allowed our country to become the world's bully, we've now allowed them to effect our own rights personally. We keep drawing a line and saying cross here, they do it, we draw another line and the cycle keeps going on. What's gonna have to happen next, freedom of speech is out of question, freedom of protest is out due to the public's large lack of uncaringness, the government does not know best, this country was founded on that principle!

If Tyranny and Oppression come to this land, it will be in the guise of fighting a foreign enemy. ~James Madison
