I think Obama will probably win too. I don't agree with most of his policies, and I don't vote for either the Democratic or Republican parties. Neither side has the answers. The Republicans want to deregulate everything and cut taxes for big business to create jobs. Big business already gets big tax breaks and created a lot of jobs..... in Mexico, China and India, but regulate what goes on in our bedrooms and private choices. We saw how deregulation went with the banking industry. The Democrats want to give away the store. It's rough. Biblely Intrusion isn't any better than Hope and Change. I thought the Republicans and Teabaggers had all the answers for jobs and the economy. Guess not. This latest dog and pony show was hilarious. Congress thinks they can strike fear into the American people to get their way. Maybe the average Rush Limbaugh listener believes all this garbage, but there are many Americans that just ain't buying it. They're all going to get a big shock next election. From the Federal to the local level, you can feel it coming.

You mean Obama did all this damage all by himself? Wow! The last few administrations were no prize either. Seriously, I'm not voting for Obama or any incumbent in our Federal, State or local government if at all possible.

I couldnt agree more. There will be a shake up I reckon, but seriously- the only way to control people in these times is with money. Wars and invasions are a thing of the past..

But if things are tight in the economy, people get desperate & pessimistic then some charasmatic optimist comes along, screams 'I'm gonna change things for the better!!' in a time when opinions and morale is low, give him a budget for a campaign and whammo you have a new leader on election day. I dont see that happening this time around as he has announced bin laden capture and bringing troops home, he supposedly 'saved' the economy from defaulting, so that is gonna win this time around.. yet it's the same tactic however when you think about it. If you look through the history books, it has happened time and time again in not just USA but other countries too.

I think the debt issue will still plague the US economy for sometime now, the dollar will go down, price of oil will go up, and the industries will struggle. I don't believe for one second however, the people of USA will put up with it for much longer.

Like I said, the economy is a man made thing, so too with money. Like all things made by man, it can be controlled by man.

Funny when you think about it, Im paying off my car loan to the bank- $13k so far, yet not one cent has been in legal tender. Ironic really- I was loaned money, that did not exist on paper untill I signed the loan agreement... irrelevant but intriguing nonetheless. There are people that get made homeless because of mortgage defaults, borrowing money & not able to pay back, that yet again- does not exist on paper till the papers get signature'd. _even then, it still does not exist!! Perpetual debt.. Stupid isn't it eh?

Obama has done nothing but divide this country more that I can ever remember. IMO if he gets re-elected the country has been lost to socialism.

I place that blame on both sides of Congress, the Teabaggers, Palin, and every other right and left wing extremist. This country is being run by the biggest bunch of simpletons ever in it's history. The country and it's policies being directed by lobbyists, big business and the banking industry, not Obama and the American sheeple are to blind to see it. Don't it just piss you off? :?

The country has been lost to some extent but can be saved. It has to be saved and the progressive agenda is NOT the way to go.

I dunno, TeeBee. After reading this, I think it's time to stick a fork in us......

Between Janet Incompetano and Eric Holdup I think the republic might be pretty much done.

Not to start anything with my friends, but Bush was competent? At least Clinton was amusing. There's a hilarious song on youtube about Clinton and Bush but it's pretty foul. PM me and I'll see if I can find the link if it's still up.
