Just purchased a used MIK Fender Squire 69 Thinline Telecaster. Searched the forum for info on this guitar but couldn't find anything. The neck says "Crafted in Korea S/N 7020116". It looks nice, but I'm feeling a little suspicious now. I haven't seen any mention of a MIK that says "Crafted in Korea", nor a S/N anything like this one.

I don't know about your guitar but Fender made a Squier Proline 'Crafted in Korea' Thinline Tele.

As for the serial number...don't lose sleep over it. Squier numbers are a jumble to get through. The Asian number format seemed to have been changed a lot.

Anyways, in general Korean Squiers are GREAT guitars. If a used 'Made' or 'Crafted' in Korea Squier Thinline came came up for sale locally, I'd snatch it up.
