I've seen such a topic at least a few times since I joined, but oh well, I'm bored so why not?

10 albums you would bring with you if you were stranded on a desert island, no more than 10, though I suppose you could do less..... although I can't see any real reason to want to....

Meat Puppets - Meat Puppets II
Minutemen - Double Nickels On The Dime (there is no life without this album once it has been heard)
The Jesus Lizard - Goat
Pixies - Doolittle
Wipers - Over The Edge
Dinosaur Jr. - You're Living All Over Me
Melvins - Bullhead
Faith/Void split
Flight - The Lead Riders EP
Misfits - Collection

When I started this list I thought this is easy, then I changed my mind about a couple. This is a difficult list to whittle down to just ten, but here they are...

Derek & the Dominoes - "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs"
Cream -- "Live Cream - Volume II"
John Mayall and the Blues Breakers, With Eric Clapton - "The Beano Album"
Alice Coopers - "Greatest Hits"
Eric Clapton - "EC Was Here"
The Doobie Brothers - "Toulouse Street"
Ted Nugent - "Ted Nugent"
.38 Special - "Wild Eyed Southern Boys"
Allman Brothers - "Live at the Fillmore"
Jeff Beck - "Wired"

When its running low I'll find a sharp stone to get the back off and rub the battery for static. Its not like I'll have a whole lot else to do.

You probably haven't heard about these people because they
are friends who have published CDs that I'm on (in some cases), but this music
is what I would take to an island :

Cast of Thousands 'Live' at a Club near You
Tyrone Shuz & His Funky Bluz
The 60s Invasion
Bringing It All Back Home
The River
Land of the USB Ports
Morning Mood
Best of SoundClick
J Geils and friends 'live' at The Rendezvous
Rock 'n' Roll Guitars
