If I was looking for a fender acoustic, I would buy this before the stratacoustic http://www.guitarcenter.com/Fender-CD-3 ... 1655904.gc I tried a stratacoustic and didn't like the sound unplugged. 8)

I think a better amp first, then go for a better guitar. Then when you do get a better guitar later you can hear the difference. A better guitar would make little difference with a low power practice amp. Make sure your existing guitar has the best setup possible so it plays as good as it can and practice, practice, practice.

I probably have played that guitar in the past. :)

I was thinking that if I saved up a little longer, I will have b-day money (probably $28 since I'm turning 14 and the tradition is a dollar per year :mrgreen: so combine grandparent and mom...yeah), another $50 dollars from the fair because I just found out I'm working one more day! So maybe, just maybe, I will have enough for the Mustang and Stratacoustic..... :mrgreen:
