Wow! Really tastie. To me it was a little Wes Montgomery, wiht a run from the guitar player from Spyro Gyra. (That guy learned how to play lead out of a jazz trumpet book!) :o

Pat Martino? You like fast guitarist? Who knew! :lol:

I remember that Pat used a thick agate pick. I always thought that a thick (or at least hard) pick is the only way to go. You can back off and barely touch the strings or you can get far more attack than you ever could with a softer plectrum.

Very nice cover. You do good work. I'm using those Triangle Stubbies and they feel good to hold but the pick tapping is starting to bother me. I have a few V picks but they are really thick and seem to dull the tone. I'm still searching.
