Last week one of the (Elvis) forum members found a photo that someone had posted on a blog of Elvis with fans. Brian Petersen and I were able to identify it as Amarillo in 1955 and we were able to locate and contact the owner for confirmations. She gave us permission to use it and sent along another. They were taken by her sister who at the time worked for the Amarillo Globe-times. She said her sister took photos of the other performers but must have been kept by the paper. These of Elvis were the only ones she was interested in and decided to keep. I've added them to the page I did on Amarillo several years ago.
