hey guys i just got back from the music store and i played a Gretsch Brian Setzer Hot Rod in orange and it sounded really good through a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe. Plus it had a Bigsby so i went a little nuts with it like doing Dick Dale stuff and Beach Boys stuff and some setzer in there

You should try it through a Bassman with Roland Space Echo RE20.Gretsch lives. A HRDlx doesn't do it one bit of justice. :wink:

i'm looking to get a 6128t duo jet to offset the strats and l.p. s that i own. i love the tone switch on the gretsch guitars.or maybe a billy bo?

yeah Gretsch is owned by Fender i checked their history and my teachers moms music store (my school teachers Mom) she has a few Fenders and Gretsch's in. i played a Tele through the same amp and it sounded really twangy! i want a gretsch and a tele and the same amp too so then i can have the Setzer and Danny Gatton sort of thing. my SX Strat copy through Blackstar amps sound ok
