I've been thinking about purchasing one and wondered if any of you have one? They look pretty cool, especially for the price. I have one of those Vox mini headphone amps (metal) and would like something with more versatility. I recently learned that Peavy makes something similar too. Any responses would be appreciated!

I had one (for about a month). I guess it's fun for kids, but if you're serious
about recording with your iOS device I'd suggest looking at this Blue Mikey :

Thanks MM. I'm not looking to record though. I just want something that I can use to play through headphones that is portable and versatile. My dads health is poor and occassionally I stay the night at his house. It would be cool to have something so I could play and not disturb him while he sleeps w/o having a small amp(or BIG!) to lug around.

I have the AmpKit--basically the same thing--and either free app will work with both.
I got it more for fun, and to test out some other apps.
That microphone would be cool, I've seen it before--but a bit more than I'm planning on spending at this time--if I find one on sale--I would consider it.

But for using the tuning apps, and for playing with different sounds--it's cool.

And hope our Dad gets better.
