any bto fans out there?

i know bachman-turn is out on tour again. there was a live concert on sirius radio a while back, and they sounded good :D

has anybody seen them on this recent tour? any comments?

on august 12th they will be doing a free show in detroit at the "rocking on the riverfront" friday concert series. showtime is 8pm.

if you are near the area, do a search for the concert series, and the info is there.

if anybody here is attending, wear a fender shirt so we can spot each other.

i'll do a follow up review after the show-- "takin'care of business" 8) :D 8)

I loved BTO back in the 70's. Great music. Great band. 8)

Not Fragile was their most hardest rocking album, to where it could almost be on par with Black Sabbath.

+1!

During the dark days of disco back in the '70's, it was bands like BTO, Bad Company, and Lynyrd Skynyrd that helped keep some sanity on the radio airwaves.

BTO...Let's see that brings back not so pleasant memories of 11 weeks of bootcamp in Texas where BTO was played endlessly...

I'll Pass....

Randy Bachman is one of the most under rated guitarists of all time.In the early 60s jazz great Lenny Breau took a young Bachman under his wing and schooled him in some of the tastiest jazz licks ever played and Bachman went on to develop his style fron there. I hope that they come this far east.
