Now that I'm playing again, I really wanted something that I could play under my current living conditions which include

a) real hardwood floors throughout my loft

b) 15' cielings

Any tiny amp I play in here sounds gigantic. A "real" amp head and 4x12 would just get my $@! evicted.

That said, this amp sounds pretty good! The backing tracks are SUPER fun! Most fun I've ever had just noodling at home with the 2 scales I know lol.

Anyway, I think it looks great and really suits my new strat!

Very cool, I once had a little GDEC15 and it was an earlier version not as cool as yours. Nice rig :)

Congrats! I got one a month ago and love it. Mine is like yours the Blues Edition. My wife laughs because I get into my GDEC zone as she calls it and stay there for hours! Enjoy!

The G-DEC 3 Thirty amps are awesome, that's for sure. I bought two when they first came out - pre-ordered them, actually. Once Fender released the Blues Version tones and backing tracks, I loaded one up immediately, then swapped out about half of the Fender stuff and loaded with my own. I can go for hours and hours without repeating anything!

I started out with the original G-DEC 30 amps in '07, used them for backing tracks while performing live - took a different pair for different venues - I used to have six of the things then and I still have four. I still use the originals for recording and for creating new backing tracks, but I play out with the new pair - 4G SD cards can hold 1000 times what the old G-DECs could hold.
