I was more than impressed back when I bought my C1 Hellraiser. I had planned to purchase a nice Ibanez, but I played a few Schecters and I was very impressed with the build quality. I am a Schecter fan for life. They're right behind Fender in my book.

I have a Shecter Omen extreme and like it. However...my best playing axe after a couple of Fenders is an Ibanez SZR 720. the Ibanez SZ line is IMO the best line of non Fenders out there.

I've played a Tempest custom. It was nice. I've always liked that body style and after I got my Hellraiser, I regretted not going with the Tempest.
