   Sorry Jerry we got a little off topic... I found Fuzzbox Girl thru Guitar Squid. He did an interview with her in last months newsletter. She knows how to use her assets to build her fan base. :D She has never revealed herself or her identity online and if she's smart she never will. Thats part of her allure. I do believe she studied marketing in College because she's done a great job of defining herself with the pics, the ring, fuzzbox cocktail, and shoes. Oh and don't forget her "very desirable blue Celestion speakers."

I wonder if Ceri knows her? He started the whole post a drink with your thread thing way back when...If Fuzzbox girl starts posting vids of her cat I'll know Andybighair is in cahoots as well...

No problem guys...

Here is what I'm thinking...

Boss CE-5 replaces CH-1
OCD replaces Blues Driver
MXR Dyna Comp replaces Bad Monkey
Muff or Fuzz or Rat replaces DS-1
Add MXR Carbon Copy Delay
Maybe a Wah

Done. Skipping the Phaser.

Good choices. Run your compressor first in the chain followed by your OCD, Fuzz, chorus and delay. If you do add a wah put it in front of the compressor. Ideally you would run the modulation effects thru the effects loop on your amp to seperate them from the other pedals. You can experiment with different pedal orders but this is the way I would run it. Someone else may have a better suggestion cause I'm not the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree...

I am a rhythm player, currently playing an Am. Std. Strat into a Hot Rod Deluxe. I play mostly classic rock, blues, jam bands, etc. My current pedal configuration is:

Tuner
Boss Blues Driver (I couldn't justify keeping the OCD instead)
Digitech Bad Monkey Overdrive
Boss Distortion DS-1
Boss Super Chorus CH-1

What am I missing? I thought about a delay, but seems like it is similar to a Chorus. Maybe a Phaser/Flanger, or EQ?

Thoughts??

Run the Demo on the Digetech Time Bender man that thing is cool. 8) :)

+1 On CE-5
+1 On replacing DS-1, try out those three pedals first though, they each are unique

One last suggestion -- If you do decide to sell one or more of the pedals to fund others, make sure you get good value. You will find the trade-in value to be very low. If you sell on eBay or CL, make sure you check the qty available on the market and the pricing. You may find it isn't worth it.

Some very nice thinking here. If you want to get especially picky, many argue that the vintage MIJ CE-2 is one of the most organic sounding chorus pedals you can get, though eBay prices certainly reflect this. They were made up until around 1986 or so.

If you wind up getting a germanium fuzz, such as the Fulltone '69, etc, it would be my suggestion to have it placed first in the chain - even before the compressor - if you bother with one. Germanium fuzzes also run best using batteries, they just sort of 'breathe' better in that regard.

The Carbon Copy is imo the best analog delay on the market without obliterating the bank account. There is much hype about the OCD, and WITH GOOD REASON, it's very transparent and adds some wonderful color to your clean tones.

My best wishes on your quest for more effects. It is indeed a fun quest
