Thanks for that. I was there in 1980 something or other.. Straight Between the Eyes tour? Bent Out of Shape tour? don't recall now - the mists of time come down. But I was somewhere near the front torturing myself watching between Blackers and Rosenthal on keys.. Shame about Joe Lynn Turner - he should have stayed off stage and just taken some more drugs..

I've seen the reformed Purple doing this jam as well - but Ian Paice gives it just a bit more swing. Plus there were lasers everywhere forming the face of Beethoven.. cool..
